“I recently stayed at Hotel Bedoya in Santander and had an overall positive experience. The highlight of the hotel was the spacious, clean rooms. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were spotless, with complementary toiletries provided. The room felt fresh and well-maintained. One downside was that there wasn't much natural light in my room due to its location, but the lighting fixtures provided sufficient illumination. Additionally, most of the staff did not speak English, which made communication difficult at times. I was able to get by with my limited Spanish, but English speakers should be aware of the language barrier. The location was decent, about a 15 minute walk from the city center and 45 minutes on foot to the nearest beach. It was convenient enough to explore Santander's sights, shops, and restaurants, though not right in the heart of the action. Considering the reasonable price I paid, I was satisfied with Hotel Bedoya. The room sizes, cleanliness, and amenities made up for the lack of natural light and language issues. It's a good option for travelers looking for an affordable, well-kept hotel in Santander, as long as you don't expect 5-star luxuries or English-fluent staff.”
“This was at least my third stay at Hotel Bedoya. This time and last with my wife and our, now nine-year-old daughter. The en suite bedroom has a fine shower, the beds are comfortable, and the rooms get tidied and well cleaned every day. It is handy for transport links and the city centre. This time we arrived in the city early in the day, and they were happy to look after our bags until check in time (3pm) while we got on with our holiday. The day we departed there was heavy rain and taxis were very busy, but the person on reception (over the road at their twin hotel San Glorio) worked hard to get us a taxi to the airport on time.”
“Many people mention the age of the decor, I like it, for me all modern is sometimes boring. It's real clean and well presented. For a couple of nights it's very good value for money. No Aircon in our room and it was warm but no problem with sleeping.”
Desayuno correcto.”
